Long Black Buckle Dress by Le Chateau
- (Canada) Size large or size 13/14. This dress has two buckle straps at the top to adjust for proper fitting. It also has one long slit on the front that measures 17" long, and a left side zipper that measures 13.5". It measures 36" bust, 34" waist, and 38" hips. The dress is 76" long measured from the top of the shoulder strap to the bottom hem. Material is 65% polyester and 35% rayon. Satin & Velvet Gown with Matching Wrap
- This is such a lovely and elegant dress! It was handmade by a friend of mine. This is the bridesmaid dress that my sister wore for my wedding. The bodice is made of velvet in a beautiful shade of dark purple. The skirt and matching wrap are made of a gorgeous dark blue-ish-purple satin. It is fully lined and very well-tailored. The wrap really ties the whole outfit together, and adds a really nice touch. The skirt is very full and ball-gown-ish. The skirt has 2 layers of fabric with full black petticoats underneath, and a slip-like lining so the petticoat netting won't scratch you. It zips up the side and is not stretchy. It fits like a size extra-small to small, bust 32" up to 34" (fits a bit better on a 32" though), waist up to 28", hips free, length 56". The matching satin wrap is about 17.5" by 81". Only worn once and in excellent condition. The only flaw I can find is that the velvet seems to have faded to a slightly red-ish-purple just under each armpit area. This is only in a small area though, so it shouldn't really be noticeable when it's worn. Smoke-free, pet-free household. - This is a very rare, and most likely out-of-print t-shirt from Peter Murphy's 1990 "Deep" Tour! I purchased this used in 2000 (I was just 9 years old at the time of the actual concert). - This is a winter white and gold, fitted damask jacket with a gold camisole. This is a beautiful little jacket with lots of detailing in a soft damask fabric from Lane Bryant. Size 16W. It's fitted at the waist with a small peplum. It has a bit of a Marie Antoinette look to it with the ruffles and tapes, neat domed buttons, hooks down the front. My dressmaker's dummy is lopsided - this coat is correctly aligned! It is unlined, with finished seams and no wear, since it did not fit me. One of the inside seam tapes is a little loose, but it doesn't affect the wearability or durability of the coat - I think it's just some manufacturing mis-stitching. Vintage 1940s Heavy Black Velvet Jacket
- I am clearing out my vintage collection and this is one of my nicest pieces. It's a very substantial, thick, light-swallowing, black silk velvet, lined with the heavy, creamy satin of the day. The fly-away style closes with one big velvet button at the top, and has a mandarin collar. It has full sleeves with a split cuff. This is a gorgeous little jacket, beautiful workmanship and wonderful vintage condition – I can barely stand to part with it, but it does not fit me. The little white marks on the velvet are camera flash. The shoulders (padded) measure 15" across. The torso is open, but when closed measures 38", but this is supposed to fit a little loosely. Length is 17". I would recommend this for no more than about a 34"-36" bust, maybe a size 6-8. The jacket is fairly heavy. Plum Crushed Velvet Jacket
- (UK) This jacket is an aubergine/eggplant/plum-coloured velvet with vertical texturing that catches the light. This is proper crushed velvet, with a deep pile, not the more common 'brushed' velvet. The jacket looks very Indian, with its high Nehru collar and paisley-design, brass-tone buttons, which fasten through elasticated loops. Fully lined and constructed in panels, it has small integral shoulder-pads, turned-up cuffs and fake front pockets. Made by Unit 7 Collection. Long Black Designer Wool and Cashmere Coat
- This coat has been gently worn. It has no fading, and there is plenty of life left in it. It has just become a bit too small for me to wear now. There is one tiny flaw, and this does not take away from the wearing of this coat. I spilled some candle wax on the bottom of the coat (see larger photos). With time and effort, you could rub the wax off. When the coat is buttoned, you can not see the wax because it is on the side of the coat that is tucked underneath, when buttoned. The coat is tagged as a size 8 petite. It will fit up to a 40" bust. The length is 41" long. The sleeves measure approx. 21" long. The coat is supposed to be dry clean only, however, I did wash it a couple times in the washer. Fiber content is 60% wool, 25% cashmere, 15% nylon. The lining is 100% acetate. - This is a brand new leather watch from Fossil, worn once. The band, at the thickest part is 1.75", and at the buckle it is 1". It has a silver face, and three digital displays. It also shows world time and has a blue light for at night. No scratches. I bought it as a present for my husband, but he told me he doesn't wear watches. By that time, I had lost the receipt. Winter White & Gold Jacket with Gold Camisole
- This is a winter white and gold, fitted damask jacket with a gold camisole. This is a beautiful little jacket with lots of detailing in a soft damask fabric from Lane Bryant. Size 16W. It's fitted at the waist with a small peplum. It has a bit of a Marie Antoinette look to it with the ruffles and tapes, neat domed buttons, hooks down the front. My dressmaker's dummy is lopsided - this coat is correctly aligned! It is unlined, with finished seams and no wear, since it did not fit me. One of the inside seam tapes is a little loose, but it doesn't affect the wearability or durability of the coat - I think it's just some manufacturing mis-stitching. It comes with a light gold-coloured camisole with adjustable slip straps. Bust 44", waist 38", length 22". Swear-Like Cyber Platform Sandal Shoes
- These shoes are so awesome! The have a very unique cyber-looking platform that measures about 4.5" tall. They are made by Demonia and tagged as a US women's size 11, but they fit more like a women's size 10 or 10.5. They slip on easily and have an adjustable velcro strap behind the ankle. I have worn these shoes about a dozen times, and they do have some scuffs and wear on the ankle strap, but they are in good condition. These shoes have been discontinued for a few years already, and are impossible to find, so get 'em while you can! Patent Metallic High-Heeled Court Shoes
- (UK) Made by Van Dal, these high-heeled shoes are a very deep metallic blue patent leather. With their tapering toe and buttoned strap (which has a hidden elasticated section), they look a bit Forties/Fifties/Pin-Up. The design is called 'Clementine'. They're a women's size 4 UK, size 7 US, but I'm a half-size up and still find them comfortable. The heel height is 3", and the width (at widest) is 3". They have 'sub-standard' stamped on the soles, but I've examined them carefully and can find no faults except, paradoxically, their having been stamped as 'sub-standard'. I bought these new and have worn them twice (both times for weddings!), so they're in splendid condition with barely any wear to the undersides.
