This is a beautiful and functional steampunk style box featuring a silver filigree base with spiky points, and an authentic vintage watch movement accented with brass scroll flourish. The watch dates from the early 1900s to 1940s. The box measures roughly 2 and 1/2" long by 1 and 3/4" wide. It closes tightly and securely, and there's a small brass prong that you press to open it. You could put a mirror on the inside, or use it to carry a number of small objects. There's been some talk recently about the danger of radium (a radioactive material) in some vintage watch parts.
